Wills Brothers were formed in 1972 as plant hire and civil engineering business as a joint partnership between James and Charles Wills. In 1999 Wills Brothers Limited was incorporated and took over the activities of Wills Brothers Plant Hire Limited.
The Company has undertaken a vast number of civil engineering projects throughout Ireland utilising its extensive fleet of owned plant and equipment with all projects being supervised by its team of long serving staff.
As a family run company we take pride in the standards we achieve in our projects, which culminate in numerous repeat contracts with our clients.
Our client base is very extensive ranging from nearly all-local authorities within Ireland, airport authorities, the National Roads Authority, major private developers and associated construction industries.
Established in 1958, BAM Civil (formerly Ascon), is the largest civil engineering and public works contractor in Ireland. Projects include PPP motorway schemes, transportation, water and wastewater, marine and rail projects. Recent projects include: the N11 Arklow Rathnew and N7 Newlands Cross PPP and M11 Gorey Enniscorthy PPP projects. Ongoing projects include: N25 New Ross Bypass.

Mayo National Roads Design Office was established in 1999 and has responsibility for the Project Management of National Road Schemes on behalf of Mayo County Council and the TII. The office functions primarily as a design office for the implementation of major new road projects, from conception through planning and design stages to final road construction. The office also fulfills a planning function through its input into decision making on Planning Applications for developments that have an impact on national routes. The National Roads Authority provides funding for the functioning of this office.
